'Life without water  is not possible'

We know this but how many of us actually realise it.We probably can not understand this because we have never felt the Scarcity of water.

 But there are also some people in this world who have to face many problems to get water for their daily routine.

So, We will discuss about  Water Scarcity , 'Save Water Save Earth'

75℅ of Earth is covered with water but see the irony we are still facing Water  Scarcity.This is the biggest global concern.

Because  95℅ Water is in the form of Seas and Oceans. which is saline and not fit for drinking or  directly for any other purpose.
Such as irrigation or home consumption.

According to UN (FAO) states that, By 2025, 1.9 billion of the world's population may have to struggle with  water shortage.

Today, 54℅ of India's population is facing Water Crisis.

Water is continuously decreasing in 50℅  wells.

Climate change effect can be seen
In many places rain is so much that  took place of floods.
And there is no rain at some places results in Drought.

When rain is high then we do not save or reserve rain water because of which we
Do not get water when needed.
and scarcity of Water remains.

 100 million people are consuming poor quality water .
Which causes many diseases.

Underground water is continuously decreasing.

This is the result of activities of human beings more than environmental reasons

When the ground  naturally absorbs water

Then becomes a reservoir of underground water

But this does not happen

Because of Infrastructural development
Forests and grounds are not left

All the  rain water goes through the drains and sewer into the oceans
This precious water goes waste like this

Save Rain Water

There are so many ways of Rain Water Harvesting.

Water collected through  roof top rain water harvesting , can be used for drinking as well and rest of the water recharge the ground water.


It's great to have a garden at home
If the gardens are large, small pitches can be made through which ground can absorb large amount of water.


Make a recharge crater near Borwell, arrange to bring rain water to this pit. When the water reaches the ground, it enhances groundwater.

Borewell is a major cause of continuous decreasing in  undergroun water.

In two decades, the excavation of wells in fields is large for irrigation and underground water is also being used for industrial needs.

We all can save rain water in our own home

We should all make such arrangements that we can store rain water directly in a big drum through the pipes.

After this the water of the pipe should go directly to the ground, It is necessary to have a pit on the surface of the ground.

Some small steps to Save Water

If you are using RO (water purifier) then the waste water can be used for washing, cleaning etc.

Dripping of water from Air conditioning vent should be stopped.

Left over water in washing machine after cleaning cloths can be used for cleaning outside home and also vehicles.
Cleaning of wash room.

These small steps taken by every person can make a big change
We have to understand the necessity of water and changes can only be made 
If we aware others also to do so.
